Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
“Game Theory: Nash Equilibrium” (the “App”) is developed and published by BME Apps, an independent developer based in Türkiye. BME Apps is not a company. You can reach us at bme.support.univ@gmail.com.
2. Information the App stores on your device
To remember your work between sessions, the App saves the following information only on your device:
- the interface language you chose;
- the games you are editing in the Solver (payoff tables, game trees, Bayesian games, Cournot markets);
- your learning progress (topics marked as learned, practice problems attempted or solved).
This information is never sent to us or to anyone else by the App, and we have no way to access it. It is deleted when you delete the App. Like the data of any app, it may be included in the backups you make of your device (for example iCloud Backup), under Apple’s terms.
3. The Full Access purchase
Some content is unlocked by a one-time in-app purchase called Full Access. Apple processes the payment; we never receive your payment details, your name or your email address. The App asks Apple’s StoreKit for the price and for a record, signed by Apple, that Full Access belongs to your Apple Account, and checks that record on your device. It stores on your device only whether Full Access is unlocked. Apple sends us sales reports that show how many purchases were made in which country, but not who made them.
4. Sharing a solution
When you tap Share, the App hands the text of the solution to the iOS share sheet. You decide where it goes (for example Messages, Mail or Notes). The privacy policy of the app or service you choose applies to what you send. The App itself does not send anything.
5. Information Apple may provide to us
Apple provides developers with aggregated statistics about their apps (for example the number of downloads). If you have chosen in your device settings to share analytics with app developers, Apple may also provide crash reports and usage statistics. We cannot identify you from this information, and it is processed by Apple under Apple’s Privacy Policy. We use it only to find and fix problems.
6. If you contact us by email
If you write to us, we receive your email address and whatever your message contains. We use them only to answer you and to fix the problems you report, based on our legitimate interest in responding to your request (Article 5(2)(f) of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698, “KVKK”; Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not use them for marketing and do not pass them on to anyone. We delete the conversation when it is no longer needed, and at the latest two years after our last message. We receive email through Gmail, a service of Google, which may store messages on servers outside Türkiye. Please do not send sensitive personal information.
7. Children
The App is suitable for all ages. It does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13 (as defined by the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act) or under 16. If a child writes to us, we use the address only to reply and then delete the conversation.
8. Your rights
Because the App does not process personal data, there is normally nothing for us to access, correct or delete. For any email conversation with us, you may exercise the rights granted to you by law, including the rights listed in Article 11 of KVKK and Articles 15–22 of the GDPR: to learn whether we hold data about you, to access it, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to its processing. Write to the address above; we answer within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurumu) or with the data protection authority of the country where you live. California residents: we do not sell or share personal information.
9. Security
The App does not transmit the games you enter or your progress; they never leave your device. Purchase records are exchanged only between your device and Apple over Apple’s encrypted connection. Data stored on your device is protected by iOS and by your device passcode.
10. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will publish the new version on this page and update the effective date. If the App ever starts to collect data, we will update this policy and the App Store privacy information before that version is released.
